Mike Wallace was born in Anniston, Alabama, but grew up in southwest Atlanta during his primary years.  He attended  Venetian Hills Elementary School and later finished high School at Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, Georgia.  after graduating high school, he went to Georgia Southern University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.

Mike later moved to Washington, D.C.  where he worked in Congress  for 8 years as a Staff Assistant to a U.S. Senator and later Legislative Aide to a Congressman.  After returning to Georgia in 1990, Mike Attended law school at the Atlanta law School and has been practicing law for nearly 15 years.

In 2000, Mike Wallace became a part-time Magistrate Judge in Fulton County and also served a Municipal Judge, pro hac vice for the City of Roswell and City of Alpharetta.  In 2004, Mike was designated to sit as a Judge of both the State Court and Superior Court of Fulton County, presiding in the place of full-time judges on a regular basis.
